I am on the freeway in my taxi going the speed limit with a passenger lady reading her book in the back seat. Without warning, a truck darts in front of me. I hit the brakes quick so that the lady and I may live another day and I begin to ease up to give us some space.

The lady in the back seat is startled from her reverie, looks up from her book, and says, “Can you please not follow so close behind that truck? You’re making me uncomfortable.”
