Keys to the Heart
Another,
Father’s Day,
Comes,
And goes,
He’s,
Still,
Young enough,
To remember,
Those,
Few times,
When it,
Was,
A special,
Day,
For him,
More than,
Just,
Calling,
His dad,
Which is,
Special,
In its,
Own way,
But what,
He’s,
Thinking of,
Is something,
Way bigger,
His fifteen minutes,
Of fame,
On the,
Other side,
Of Father’s Day,
The cards,
And,
The gifts,
The,
Very sweet,
Hugs,
The adventures,
To,
Politics and Prose,
And,
Elsewhere,
The Indian food,
For dinner,
The,
I LOVE YOUs,
Those,
Fleeting,
Moments,
Were,
Truly,
Special,
Something,
That mattered,
And,
Even though,
Those,
Two munchkins,
Are gone,
For good,
And,
Even though,
Things,
Could have,
Gone,
A different way,
There’s nothing,
Left,
But,
The smiles,
That have yet to come,
And the hugs,
That haven’t happened,
And the feelings,
Still,
To be shared,
And the tears,
That will,
Need,
To be,
Shed,
And the,
Love,
That’s yet,
To be found,
And if he,
Ever decides,
To give,
Another child,
The keys,
To his,
Heart,
It will,
Be hard,
For him,
Not to,
Remember,
The two,
Who held,
The first pair.
Dogs and Humans
His dear,
Little London,
Is not,
A person,
The issue,
Is that,
There are,
Times,
When,
Little London,
Doesn’t appear,
To know,
That she’s,
Not,
A person.
