Sensodyne Surprise

He’s at CVS,
Just picking up,
A few things,
Paper towels,
Wipes,
Some snacks,
Now looking for,
Toothpaste,
And quickly,
He discovers,
That the Sensodyne,
Is all locked up,
That’s his brand,
So he asks,
Someone,
For help,
And he asks,
What’s going on,
We’re still talking,
About toothpaste,
And the woman,
Who is helping him,
Says all the Sensodyne,
Is all locked up,
Because it’s the Sensodyne,
That gets stolen,
The most,
By a wide margin,
It seems,
And he finds that,
Quite surprising,
And he’s not sure,
What to make,
Of this news,
But whatever,
It means,
He’s sure,
It’s,
Not good.

Right Where He Should Be

There are,
Times,
When,
Writing,
About life,
Hurts,
A lot,
And,
When,
He feels,
All that,
Hurt,
Soaking up,
The page,
He’s sure,
That he’s
Right,
Where he,
Should be.

Searching for Forever

Bourbon,
On the rocks,
A seat,
Towards the end,
Of the bar,
He checks,
His phone,
No new messages,
Turns his head,
To look near,
The entrance,
Still no sign,
Of her,
Feeling,
A little nervous,
Waiting,
To see,
If Madrid,
Might be,
The gateway,
To forever.
